Process Flow Of Aluminum Hydroxide

Aluminum hydroxide roasting is generally carried out in a rotary kiln or a fluidized furnace.

(1) When roasting in a rotary kiln, feed the washed wet aluminum hydroxide into one end of the kiln, spray heavy oil or gas from the other end of the kiln, and complete the reactions such as drying, removal of crystal water and crystal transformation in the kiln. Process, discharge, and get alumina after cooling.

(2) When roasting in a fluidized furnace, the wet aluminum hydroxide is first fed into the dryer, and then sent to the fluidized roaster, injected with fuel to be roasted into alumina, and then passed through the residence tank, multi-stage cyclone heat exchange device and fluidized bed. The cooler cools down, which is the final product. The fluidized furnace roasting system can make full use of the heat released by the combustion exhaust gas and material cooling to preheat the incoming cold material and the gas and air required for combustion. The materials in the system are all in fluidized state. High thermal efficiency and low heat consumption, only 60% to 70% of the rotary kiln device.

The combustion exhaust gas of the two processes is discharged into the atmosphere after being purified by the electrostatic precipitator.
