Requirements For The Use Of Aluminum Hydroxide in Different Industries

Feb 09, 2022

Aluminum hydroxide is an amphoteric hydroxide and is a widely used inorganic flame retardant additive, so it has a wide range of applications and is used in different industries, and its requirements are different.

1. The ink coating is added without precipitation and low oil absorption rate.

Specially activated for ink coating, it has the characteristics of low oil absorption, no impurities, high whiteness and no precipitation. It is a non-toxic, harmless, odorless, safe and environmentally friendly filling flame retardant, intolerant of acid and alkali, and stable in chemical properties.

2. EVA foam

EVA foam material is a good environmental protection thermal insulation material. The product is widely used indoors and public places, so it must have good environmental protection and flame retardant properties. The flame retardant system generally adopts a single product, and the addition amount reaches about 60%. Due to the large amount of addition, it has strict requirements on the stability of the product, stable PH, and no impurities in the product, which makes the production process very strict and the price is higher than other nano-scale products.

3. For TPU/TPE material

When added to TPU/TPE materials, first of all, the particle size is required to be below 2.0 microns, the particle size distribution is uniform, and it can be better integrated with other materials to improve the wear resistance and tear resistance of the material. Secondly, it is necessary to do surface activation treatment on it, so that the product can have a good connection with other substances, and at the same time, it also enhances the processing fluidity, so that the product can be more uniformly distributed into the material, resulting in a good flame retardant effect.
